Game On Bingo Review
GameonBingo.com is a new online bingo site from the people behind Littlewoods Gaming. The site is aimed at UK bingo players, and has a wide selection of bingo games, and instant win games.
The design of the site is rather different to most online bingo sites, with the dominant colour being a neutral blue, rather than the typical feminine pink or purple. Game On Bingo actually feels welcoming and inviting to players of both genders.
The Games
There are more than 30 instant games on the site, with a range of themes, from Hollywood to Horse Racing. There are also some table games, such as blackjack and roulette, video poker games, and slot machines.
The focus of the site, however, is bingo, and there is a huge range of bingo games for you to try. The games are divided up into 75 ball and 90 ball bingo variations, with coverall jackpots, progressive jackpots, and team bingo games.
The Team Bingo game is for groups of up to four players. The players join a team, and can keep track of their bingos throughout the month. The team which has the most collective bingos at the end of the month is the winner. Loyalty point prizes are awarded to the top ten teams.
The progressive jackpots offer players the chance for some very nice prizes. To win the progressive jackpot, you have to bingo on the ‘Diamonds are Forever’ card within a set number of calls. When someone wins the progressive jackpot, it is reset, at £500.
The £500 minimum for the progressive jackpot is quite competitive. My only complaint is the scheduling of the progressive games. They run from 19:10 to 23:50 each evening, with games starting every few minutes. This is great for people who prefer to play on an evening, but not so good for bingo fans who work unsociable hours.
The coverall games are slightly better, with games running from 8AM through to Midnight, every day of the week. These games offer coverall jackpots from £500 up to £1 million, with the minimum pots ranging from £50 to £1,500. There are three £1 million coverall games each week.
There are, of course, standard bingo games, with smaller pots, running all day, every day.
Game on Bingo are quite competitive when it comes to the promo stakes. You can earn bonus points by referring friends, playing chat games, and just using the site to play bingo. On top of these bonus points, there are giveaways on weekends, real life meet up events, happy hours, and other promotions. One promotion which I’m sure will be popular with players these days is the ‘Bingo pays the bills’, where three winners are selected each month, and Game on will pay their Gas, Electricity, and Water bills.
Payment Options
As a UK targeted bingo site, I expect that most players will be using a credit or debit card to finance their account. Game on Bingo accept Visa, Visa Electron, Delta, Switch, Solo, Maestro, and Mastercard, which should cover 99% of people who would want to use the site. I’m impressed by the addition of Visa Electron, as that gives people who are forced to have, or have chosen, one of the more basic bank accounts, the chance to play online.
There is the option of NETELLER for people who do not want to give their card details to the site.
Welcome Bonus
At the time of writing, the new member offer was 20 free bingo cards to people who register and provide their card details. You don’t have to deposit, just add a card to your account. I suspect this extra step was added to reduce instances of fraud where people would register multiple accounts to play for free. If you’re a sincere customer wanting to try out the site, then registration should not be an issue.
If you do decide to deposit, your first deposit, as long as it is between £5 and £100 will be matched by the site. You’ll also get a 50% cash match on future deposits between £20 and £100. They say ‘all’ future deposits, so I assume the offer will be running for quite some time.
Community & Playability
The community on the site is very friendly, and does not feel like a clique in the slightest. A look at the testimonials should indicate the regard in which the community moderators are held, but to truly get a feel for the community, you should play a few games. There are some ‘usual faces’, that you will quickly get to know if you play at the same time each day, but there’s always people around, so even if your playing hours are somewhat erratic, you will be able to find a nice bunch to hang out with.
The games are played in your browser, and do not need you to install or set up any special client software, as long as you already have Flash installed – which the vast majority of computer users do. The games load quickly, and the client is very easy to use. If you have any issues playing the games, just go to the home page, scroll to the bottom, and click on the ‘Help’ link – there’s a lot of information there. If that doesn’t answer your questions, there is also a very good tech support team which can be reached via the ‘contact us’ link.
I’d recommend Game on Bingo to bingo players of any age or gender. It is a very well organized and friendly site, and it’s quite competitive on the bonuses, cost, and prizes fronts too.
