Without further ado let’s get started with the fastest game in the bingo arsenal – speed bingo. As its name suggests, speed bingo is all about blistering pace. Players enjoying this variant of the game at UK bingo sites are typically in it because they’re looking to play as many games as possible, in as little time as possible. In this game, only 9 numbers are used. The caller announces the numbers in quick succession – meaning that the games are quite literally over in the blink of an eye. I’ve seen players hitting bingo in just 3 numbers. The best part of this game is that more games can be enjoyed per hour – this means your winning rate is going to be higher. The game makes use of a 3 X 3 grid with bingo numbers. And like all other bingo games, there are also many features to enjoy, including online chat, chat moderators, blogs, forums and more. It’s a really quick game and the random number generators punt out all 30 numbers in double-quick time.

75 ball bingo gaming

This game needs little introduction and it’s one of my personal favorites. It’s also the North American favorite. There are 75 bingo numbers called out from a random number generator (RNG) and the cards consist of a 5 x 5 grid. The center square is gifted to players. The top of the bingo cards are labeled with the letters B-I-N-G-O and each letter corresponds to a specific range of numbers:

• B includes numbers 1 thru 15
• I includes numbers 16 thru 30
• N includes numbers 31 thru 45
• G includes numbers 46 thru 60
• O includes numbers 61 thru 75

This letter/number correlation is very useful when playing bingo as it allows for quick and easy referencing when numbers are called out. Winning patterns come in the shape of vertical and horizontal lines, letter shapes, T-patterns and many others. In fact it all depends on the bingo room in question. The game is played at a lively pace and offers excitement galore for players.

80 ball bingo lights up

Another exciting game – indeed an entirely novel concept – is 80-ball bingo game. I like to think of it as a fusion between 75-ball and 90-ball, but it’s really quite a unique game that draws in a niche market of players. There are 80 numbers as its namesake suggests and it’s loaded with lots of color – that’s its drawcard. When the RNG calls out bingo numbers, they are automatically shaded over on the online bingo cards. The design of the cards is unique too. They are arranged in 4 rows X 4 columns. Each column is a different color:

• Silver - numbers 60-80
• Blue - numbers 41-59
• Yellow - numbers 21 – 40
• Red - numbers 1-20

90 ball bingo game

This is the classic bingo game that is loved and enjoyed by players from the United Kingdom and Europe. It’s the traditional favorite and it is the star attraction at bingo halls. 90-ball differs from 75-ball game in the arrangement of the cards. In this particular variant, the bingo cards are called tickets. They are arranged in a 3 X 9 format. Note that each row contains 5 squares with numbers between 1 and 90. There are 4 blank squares and no free squares. I have to admit that this is also one of my favorite games – not surprising, given that I’ve grown up on this particular variant. Winning patterns include any line, any two lines and a full house. Besides for the aforementioned games, there are many other styles of bingo games that can be played. I’ll reference only a few of them, because it can become rather overwhelming. These include: poker bingo, free, instant, tournament, jackpot, team and live bingo. And on top of all these fantastic games, there are fully customizable cards. This allows you to pretty much select any theme for your gaming. Among the more popular themes are baby shower, bridal shower, Valentine’s Day, holiday bingo and others.
