I L-O-V-E this Game!

We all see it on TV and read about it regularly in magazines. If poker is a virus then I’m infected. I just love this game! As frustrating and mind boggling as poker can be at times it is my muse of choice more often than not. What else can you do to satiate your competitive juices and actually earn a nice piece of money in the process? Poker, of course!

I happen to be a reformed golfer that used to play four rounds a week plus hit the practice range. I shot a respectable 17 handicap but I never made a dime playing golf. I never gambled on the course. Poker is different. I consider it a sport more so than gambling but that is entirely up to the individual. The thing I enjoy the most about the game of poker and playing in poker tournaments is the competition. The money is a by product of being a consistently good player I suppose.

Did you say you enjoy the occasional adrenaline rush? Well, poker is just the game for you. Pick a game. Up and down and down and up. Your heart is pounding with every single card that falls while you’re all-in praying your opponent doesn’t hit that one outer on you. Where else can you find that kind of high drama outside of the poker world? Yes, poker is it for me. I have found my promised land. The pay isn’t bad either. So sit down and enjoy a seat at the best game on planet earth.
