Top 10 Las Vegas Casino Restaurants

Top 10 Las Vegas Casino Restaurants

While Las Vegas will always be known for its lavish casinos and unlimited gambling opportunities, the city has evolved into an all-around entertainment capital. As part of this all-around experience, Vegas has attracted some of the most exquisite restaurants in the world.  In fact, some people visit Sin City for the dining experience alone!

And while you may still look at dining as a secondary reason for visiting Las Vegas, chances are that you still want to treat your taste buds to something delicious. With that in mind, here are the top 10 casino restaurants in Las Vegas.

1. Michael Mina – Bellagio Hotel and Casino

If the dancing fountains of the Bellagio entice you inside, you’ll definitely want to visit Michael Mina. Not only do many people consider Michael Mina to be the Bellagio’s finest restaurant, but it’s also arguably the top restaurant in all of Sin City. As you may have guessed, the restaurant is named after its head chef – Michael Mina – and he is no doubt one of the best chefs in the world. Mina’s specialty is seafood, so the entire menu is filled with delicious dishes such as sea bass, salmon and sea scallops. Even those who don’t like seafood will have their minds changed by the cuisine at Michael Mina’s.

2. Picasso – Bellagio Hotel and Casino

The only true rival to Michael Mina’s is Picasso, which just happens to be housed under the same roof at the Bellagio. The atmosphere at Picasso is characterized by the $50 million worth of Picasso art works throughout the restaurant. Seeing as how Picasso spent the majority of his life in Southern France, the food choices here revolve around French dishes. Speaking of the food, world famous chef Julian Serrano brought his services from San Francisco to Picasso so that Picasso visitors can enjoy his wide variety of amazing food. Truffle-crusted lamb, lobster salad and sautéed foie gras are just some of his specialties.

3. Valentino – The Venetian

If you’re looking for the best selection of wine in town, then Valentino is your best bet. Of course, Valentino is about much more than their wine since they also offer the best Italian cuisine in Las Vegas. Lasagna with duck meat, bacon-wrapped snails and soft polenta are a few of the original dishes offered at Valentino. The atmosphere is also first-class with elegant wood-paneled walls and intimate settings throughout the restaurant.

4. Nobu – Hard Rock Hotel and Casino

Award-winning chef Nobuyuki Matsuhisa has brought a taste of Japan to Vegas with his Nobu restaurant. Nobu, which is practically a replica of the New York location, features a very unique setup with seaweed and black rock walls, bamboo pillars and tiny mountains comprising the décor. Moving past the atmosphere, the food is highlighted by the sushi bar while full meals are also offered including black cod, tuna tataki and whitefish.

5. Le Cirque – Bellagio Hotel and Casino

Proving that the Bellagio is dominant in the world of Las Vegas fine dining, Le Cirque is the third Bellagio restaurant to make it in our top five.  Much like Nobu, Le Cirque also hails from New York and offers house favorites like striped sea bass, risotto and foie gras. Besides the excellent selection of contemporary food, there are also hundreds of wines to choose from here. The mahogany-paneled walls add a nice touch to the overall dining experience at Le Cirque too.

6. Lutèce – The Venetian

Lutèce is the third New York import in a row on our list of top Las Vegas casino restaurants. What puts Lutèce at the top of the list is their creative and delicious French meals; some of the meals you’ll find here include roasted foie gras with port sauce, sautéed foie gras with chocolate sauce and tarragon with lobster sauce. Along with the wide selection of delicious French dishes, you can also expect some great service at Lutèce.

7. Renoir – The Mirage

Renoir takes a similar approach to Picasso in decorating their casino walls with famous art work; in this case, billionaire Steve Wynn’s collection of art serves as the decorative eye candy. In addition to the visual treats, Renoir features Chef Alessandro Stratta, who brings his exceptional meal preparation skills to Renoir. Some of Statta’s acclaimed dishes include asparagus cannelloni and sauté of foie gras.

8. Spago – Caesars Palace

As one of the first high-class restaurants to move to Las Vegas, Wolfgang Puck’s Spago will always be considered one of Vegas’ casino best. Puck isn’t involved with the restaurant much anymore, but fellow chef David Robbins does an excellent job in making sure that Spago is on par with the rest of the top restaurants in Las Vegas. Some of the best  casino dishes here include grilled lamb chops, provençal tart and steamed black grouper. The fact that Spago has no reservation dining is just an added bonus to eating here!

9. 808 – Caesars Palace

808 offers a mix of cultures and food with Chinese, Japanese, Italian, French, Thai and Indian cuisine all filling the menu. It doesn’t matter what type of meal you choose to go with because Chef Jean-Marie Josselin and his team do an excellent job with all of the menu selections. Perhaps Josselin’s most impressive cooking feat is that he offers original Hawaiian cuisine, which is why the restaurant is named 808 (Hawaii’s area code). And while you’re dining here, make sure to look at the specialty coffees and cocktails offered here too.

10. Aureole Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino

Aureole is worth visiting for their four-story wine tower alone, where models on cables move up the wine tower to grab your selected bottle. The tower in itself is quite impressive as it’s made out of water and glass. Fortunately, Aureole has more to offer than just the wine tower because they also have Chef Robert Kirchoff, who serves some of the best food in Vegas. Some of his meals include fillet mignon with parsley custard, pepper-seared tuna and shell steak. Enjoy this casino favourite!
