In the Point round, the main object is for the shooter to roll the point number before he/she rolls a 7. This round may last a long time because it continues until the shooter rolls either a seven or the point.
To bet on the Come Out round players can place their wagers on the Pass Line or the Don't Pass Line. Placing money on the Pass Line is considered a 'right' bet since you are betting that the shooter will roll a 7 or an 11. Betting on the Don't Pass Line is considered a 'wrong' bet, since you are betting that the shooter will crap out with a 2, 3, or a 12. That's it. This is the fundamental bet in craps.
Once you've learned this basic bet, the terms and the etiquette of the game, you are ready to start joining in one of the most exciting casino games in the world. After you've become familiar with the game, you can start incorporating the other, more-advanced betting options into your strategy. But don't forget to start slow, the great odds in craps will be lowered if you place so many bets on the table you lose track of them! Beyond this, the best advice is to learn the rules and bets on your own; don't take advice from players at the tables, and have fun.
