"Just Another Day at the Slots"? Try a week

The “one-armed bandit” was an early nickname given to the slot machine as its lever resembled an arm.  The early makers of the machine could not keep up with orders that filled up taverns and casinos throughout the United States.  Since those early days, the device has crossed borders both globally and around the casino.  Poker has found its way to the reels of the slot machine, and popular Hollywood films now represent different themes in various reworks.

Different machines allow you a different rate at which to play your hand.  In other words, there are machines that allow you to play more than one hand at a time; anywhere up to 100 hands at a time.  This is partly because of the monotonous nature of the slot machine.  Though therapeutic to some people, the rolling reels become a bore to others.  Playing several hands at a time, even tens of them at a time, allows the more anxious player to do his damage at the machine and move on.

A major difference does exist between the modern video slots and the standard reel slots.  In order to win the maximum jackpot with the reel slots, a player must play the maximum number of coins of the machine (between 3 to 5 coins per spin).  The video slots, which have several distinctive lines for different games, there are preset payout values that are multiplied by the number of coins per line that are being bet.  A common strategic tip in video slots is to play as many individual lines as possible.

You can mix and match between the different types and styles of slot machines.  Between the different themes, credit requirements and number of lines allotted, the options are enormous.  If you really want to try them all, think of giving yourself more than a day.
