September 25th, 2006

777.com's ""Best Poker Player of All Time" poll ended September 20th with slightly surprising results. Popular favorite Phil Hellmuth received 20 percent of the votes, but ended up coming in 2nd to T.J. Cloutier, who walked away the winner with 27% of the votes.

The poll (http://www.777.com/poll/who-is-the-best-poker-player-of-all-time) is the latest in a series of polls issued by 777.com (http://www.777.com/), revolving around the gambling world and exploring various issues, such as "What's your favorite game", "Most memorable casino movie character" and "What is the perfect attire for a night at the casino".

The response from poker players and gambling enthusiasts was especially high. The World Series of Poker, which ended just last month, has contributed to the great interest in the game and its history. The poll has also generated a buzz throughout the poker world with rumors going around about who will win and who should win.

"We try to find the most interesting questions that we think the gambling community wants answered," said 777.com's Marketing Director Amy Gomez, and added: "These polls are part of the fun in gambling and it is important to show the opinions and thoughts of the members of the gambling community. They deserve to have their voices heard."

Currently, the new gambling poll (http://www.777.com/poll/gambling-online) explores the seniority of 777.com's users, who are online gamblers, in their "How long have you been gambling online?" poll.
