Roulette Rules

The best part of playing roulette is that there is no skill or strategy involved. Of course there are those players who believe in certain betting strategies (like Martingale), but as far as outcomes are concerned – it’s anybody’s guess. Lady Luck alone is responsible for the outcomes, and that pleases players immensely. Depending on which particular variant you play, there are between 37 and 38 numbers. American roulette games contain the 00, in addition to the 0, and 1 through 36. French roulette and European roulette games, by contrast, sport 37 numbers in total. The beauty of the game is that you don’t need to compete against other players to win – it’s you versus the house.
How to Win at Games of Roulette
If players had to guess the exact number in order to mint it in roulette, it would be a really dull day for most players, most of the time. However, there are myriad betting options in roulette. These include the likes of 2 to 1 bets, 4 corners, black or red, odds or evens, columns and many more. These bets dramatically increase the chances of players winning, to almost 50% (red or black/odds and evens). Note that the 0 or the 00 make the odds less than 50%. It’s much of a muchness however and players have many ways to hit their straps. The biggest payouts however are on the individual number bets. Players should adopt a longer-term strategy to roulette gaming; encompassing combination bets, odds/evens, red/black or columns etcetera over several spins of the wheel.
